I began designing at fifteen. My first logo, created for my swim team, ended up on a billboard. That moment showed me the power of design and set the course for everything that followed.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in graphic design from one of the top universities in my country. I started my career as a junior art director at two of the most respected ad agencies in my city. It was fast, demanding, and formative.
Later, I moved to Istanbul and worked as a senior and then creative director. During those years, I created brand identities and rebranded multiple multi-billion dollar products and companies, including work for global giants like Unilever and P&G. Many of those projects earned national and international design awards across branding, packaging, and product innovation. I learned how to create for scale and how to bring precision and clarity to every part of a brand system.
Hayat Group, a leading FMCG corporation, offered me a position as Chief of Design. For five years, I worked directly with brand managers in the marketing department. I led a design team of over ten people, including eight in-house creatives and remote designers overseas. I launched and maintained many products and travelled internationally for launches, hiring designers, ensuring that all packaging, print, and visual communications reflected the core identity and standards of several multi-billion-dollar brands.
Afterwards, I established my own design office in Istanbul and continued to work with large clients across branding, packaging, and digital platforms.
For the past ten years, I have lived and worked in Toronto. I continue to collaborate with agencies and companies that value creative branding and creating award worthy designs.
This portfolio reflects how I create, how I think, and how I see design.
